| Madrid visited once years ago and I can not say what happened right or who knew the capital. Since then I have been indifferent to Madrid. On Friday arrived with little desire to return to Madrid, but eager to take a day off. Despite forecasts of rain on Sunday, I decided to park the bike two days and stay until Monday. The truth is I'm happy with what I've achieved so far and I have wanted to enjoy this moment - and there is plenty here to enjoy that has nothing to do with tourism. Unlike the previous visit, I'm very comfortable with the culture and language. For example, for a coffee, I avoid Starbucks, looking for an old crappy cafeteria, greeting others to come and take the empty stool at the bar. Even I have started taking olives. Well, this time I'm enjoying the experience the capital. I do not know if I could live here but at least I like it here. | I visited Madrid Several eleven years ago and I can not say That I enjoyed it normal That I got to know the capital. Since Then I Have Been indifferent Towards Madrid. Yesterday Friday I arrived with little interest in returning to Madrid but lots of interest in taking a rest day. Despite forecasts of rain on Sunday, I decided to park the bike two days and stay until Monday. The truth is that I'm very happy with what I've achieved so far and I want to enjoy this moment -- and there's lots here to enjoy besides sightseeing. Unlike the previous visit, I'm very comfortable with the culture and the language. For example, to have a coffee, I skip Starbucks, look for a tacky old cafe, greet everyone on entering, and take the empty stool at the bar. I've even started to eat olives. Well, this time I'm enjoying getting to know the capital. I don't know if I could live here but at least I like being here. |
